I thinks it's down to 90 days now, and there's some film out now that's being released on all formats/markets (cinema, DVD, television, etc) simultaneously just to see what happens. The Geoff Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 If it's out in the UK in that timescale, I may as well buy the DVD - the difference in cost between buying the DVD & paying for 2 good evening seats in the main cinema in the area is closing fast. What's the cost of a seat in the US? We'd pay about £8.00 over here in a big cinema in the evening. (The local flea-pit has a club - for a payment of £5.00/annum I get a seat for £3.50 anytime of day/evening, & my partners a concession so gets it for the same.) We actually went over to the UK one weekend just to pick up a multizone DVD player. I think it cost us something absurd like 30 quid. Mind you, having to stay overnight in Genoa after Ryan Air screwed up our return flight DID bump up the price somewhat...
