Your issue brought up a good point about using drastically different control surfaces. I purchased a Roli Block and found out quickly that I was not skilled enough to use it effectively. Then I saw the Kickstarter Lumi project and was waiting for its release with the hopes of adding the two together like you have. After reading your issue and the comments in the Kickstarter project I decided to go with the K-Board Pro - 4 but it has not arrived yet. Looking at the editor it looks like you can split the K- Board but I don't know if you can have one section non-MPE and the other MPE. That will be the first thing I try, hopefully this week. After reading through both Kickstarter projects, I came to the conclusion that the KMI has far more positive comments. I can still incorporate the Roli Block at a later date if I find that the KMI lacks anything important for MPE. It dose appear that the two handle non-key pitch bending differently. Without the LUMI and the Roli Block working well together I saw nothing that the LUMI brings to the table, in my case.
