    Congrats, buddy.

But that hand ball was a clear cut penalty for Germany. The ref really messed up there.

It was ball to hand anyway, there was no intent to handle the ball.

If it had been reviewed there was an offside first.

All well and it ended well with Germany going out, they fouled left right and center.

The Ref was very lenient with some particularly so called “professional” fouls by the German players.

Germany v Spain was a pretty good match whereas France v Portugal was a damp squid of a match, how France are through with their dull boring play and so call superstars in Griesman and Mbappe failing to deliver.

Best quote by TV punters here in the UK……..

”Ronaldo has taken 58 direct free kicks in International football and scored one goal”.

Beggars belief that Managers still allow him to take free kicks with that abysmal success record.

How many misses would a Punter in the NFL be allowed before his was benched or contract terminated?

Seen Lulu many times and also been to Jool’s concerts which are stunning the guy can play anything.  His guest artists are world class.

A friend of mine tried to climb the fence there, but they told him he had to go back and watch Coldplay.

    Naah

They were getting away before Sza came onstage.

Never in Glastonbury has a so called Headliner sort of performed to such a small crowd.

Certainly well short of the 120,000 who watched Coldplay, us Brits know a class act.

Shania Twain had a massive audience for her Legends spot as did Cyndi Lauper

Well, if we're gonna talk about that, my bigger beef is that the offside rule is being over-implemented. The rule was instated ages ago to stop teams from having a striker camping out by the opponent's goal waiting for a long ball. Now they are calling offside for guys that are a less than a toenail's width behind the last man, ridiculous.

I think the rule should be revised somehow. And while we're at it, I would love to cancel offside altogether when everybody is already in the box, but it's hard to codify that. It's really off-putting to have them scramble in front of the goal with seven or eight guys and when the ball finally goes in it is disallowed because offside.

What we are seeing in the Euros by all teams are the defender players lined up across the field, then a few yards in front there are the midfielders then the token forward.

They then move en-masse forward and backward, it is stifling the game.

Move the offside line away from the halfway line to the edge of the opponents penalty area or make it so there is no offside, lets get the players spread out and some movement.

Most of the guys on the field are on well over £100,000 a week with the likes of Kane, Mbappe, Ronaldo etc on vastly more and so many just cannot pass or kick the ball accurately.

These whimps get cramp, how does that happen?  In the 90 minutes they have only covered 4-6 miles so barely more than walking pace.

I love football (er, soccer).  Relatively few rules especially compared to American handegg (which I know very well and grew up watching).

But man.... it's pa-the-tic the faking of injuries to draw cards.   There are fake fouls/flopping in every sport, but writhing around like you got shot and the replay shows that you were not even touched?  They should retroactively go and ban anyone doing that for two games IMO.  If it happens in the first half, do a halftime review and give the faking fool a red card.    Saw a bad one today with a high boot that missed the dude but he pretended it hit him.  Some teams are worse about it than others.  I have rooted against South American teams for years due to this nonsense, not that they give a hoot about my rooting or not for them.  Italy used to be bad too.    I thought VAR had helped to limit what is a really awful part of the game but its still there.  They have the tech to at least retroactively punish the worst abusers, I'd love to see them use it.

You are so right with your comments.

Totally agree VAR should retrospectively review suspect “fouls” for what is termed Simulation and Cards issued.

There is to much pushing, shoving and holding.

    To much arguing with officials.

VAR itself should be limited in duration, 30 seconds to give a decision is more than enough.

  6. If you are outside the UK and get the error message, you may have success using a VPN.

The Coldplay set is well worth watching, awesome from start to finish.

Cyndi Lauper had sound issues to start off with but they got sorted.

  7. Swap out the DS for the 88 key version.

The FA06 action leave a lot to be desired, the 07 has a different action and IMO much better.

Consider a Fantom O series, the same Performances capabilities as the DS and a similar Roland OS that you are familiar with.

  8. Lightweight at 8.4 lbs there can be only one!

Korg Kross 2, a big plus is that it can run on batteries.

No speakers in-built but add a Boss Katana amp, which also runs on batteries.  This is small yet packs enough W for a small venue and jamming.

I used this mobile setup for two years and it is vastly superior IMO to anything from Casio.

  9. Yet the guys more front and centre and in the audience eye compared to the keyboardist who is at the back or side, by their positioning the front and centre guys display their choice of Instrument without resorting to lengths of Duct or Gaffer Tape.

A Fender Stratocaster or Telecaster or Gibson Les Paul or SG are so Iconic to a level that no Keyboard can even remotely compete with.

Sorry to upset the apple cart, but that is reality.

  10. If you want to go the arranger route a Korg Pa1000 would be a better choice as its recording is superior and the Styles are less cheesey and in any case you can turn off the Style elements so you just have the drum or drum and bass.

It also has an inbuilt MIDI to Style converter bot.

In the Korg there is the Songbook feature where you can customise each of your repertoire songs and save them in the User bank for quick call up.

Want a Setlist, it does that to, create whatever you want from your Songbook in the order you want them, there is even software to do all this on a PC.

  11. Looks like it is still cheaply made, I cannot denegrate just how flimsy and nasty the controls are on the 2X and these new models look exactly the same.

My Compact 2X has burnt out after four years.

I would not waste any more cash on any Studiologic products.

Good point. I took those figures at face value for that locale, but at least here in the U S, currently the p125 is showing at $699 at sweetwater vs $749 for the p225, so not much of an increase. I wonder if the p125 was always that much cheaper where biggles is, or if maybe that reflects a more recent price reduction, perhaps linked to the introduction of the new model.

The price I quoted in UKP was current which is more now than it was pre Covid
