  1. This is it.... My rig, that is. So last year we moved four hours north. The new house had an accessory building back a ways from the house. It had heat, and stayed pretty cool during the summers. I was allowed 1/2 of the building for some of my music stuff, the other parts housing exercise equipment etc. A few pages back in the thread you will find a post that I made last year with my temporary setup. Here is what the building looked like before we bought the house. Fast forward about seven-eight months. Replaced the wood stove with a new propane stove, bypassing the faulty in-floor heat (wouldnt shut off and thermostat was worthless, used a ton of electricity, was intermittent. You would go back in winter and find the temperature anywhere between 35 degrees Fahrenheit and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Worthless. Anyway, so we replaced the unused wood stove (allergies) so that the building could remain heated. Changed out the dim light bulbs, did a lot of unpacking, a lot of rearranging and moving everything around a lot. Still not perfect because there are still boxes, but this is as nice as I can get it until we find storage. This will be long term. The result: Panoramic shot of my half of the building: The keyboard enclosure: The goods: Yamaha YS200; now retired from gigging, Im keeping it around since its own sounds still work OK.
  2. Used Korg Krome 61 from Music Go Round. It even came with a nice case. My first Korg ever. Liking it a lot so far. I like the action. It works great as a MIDI controller with my Motif XF8. The Motif plus the Krome is my new/revamped gigging rig, pictured.
  3. Video I found on YouTube. Not recorded direct, and it looks like the keyboard is running in mono, though the result would be mono anyway from the camera mic. [video:youtube] I think it sounds pretty good considering though.
  4. I'm thinking that maybe DB should combine the two threads. Neither has the information of the other one. :idk
  5. Mannheim Steamroller's first album, "Fresh Aire I" (it's not Christmas), from 1975. If I ever find my old iTunes gift card from a few years ago that I never used, I know what I will be downloading.
  6. Horror of horrors!!! This morning I ordered a brand new Yamaha Pacifica 112V in Natural.
  7. Hey, I don't know if anyone has mentioned this previously, but I found a YouTube Tutorial that show how you can load Integra synth soundsets into the FA-series workstations. [video:youtube]
  8. Here's my new setup at the new house. It's still in the works, but here is where it is at right now. I have a section of the "bunk house" or accessory building dedicated only to music stuff, and that's what you see here. The digital piano is a Yamaha CLP from the early 2000s.
  9. A bit of almost everything. Hillsong Young and Free (terrible name for a band IMO) for the "modern" side, cover versions of pop songs, etc. Some acoustic jazz, Earth Wind and Fire. Other contemporary Christian songs too, like Have It All, What a Beautiful Name, and Those Who Trust. 10. Is it just me, or does the Roland U.S. video seem to show larger keys than on the 06? Roland FA-07
  11. Nice cover. The worship team that I am in at my church likes to play this one every few months. What mics are you and your wife using? I need to upgrade from my SM-57 that I have been using for vocals, although I usually use it as an instrument mic. Good job! -Max
  12. Now the accordions that would not display on my previous post. Titano Virtuoso Converter accordion - my main accordion for solo/State Fair/Festival of Nations/etc.. Borsini Vienna 723 wet-tuned accordion - my go-to for small band events where I will not be the main instrument. Sometimes I run it's microphone signal trough my Motif for reverb or delay. So that is just about everything. I also own a Native American flute in the key of F#, and more accordions, most of which are not in playing condition; I seem to be a magnet for accordions, people just sometimes give them to me for nothing, just to get rid of them. There you go! -Max
  13. OK. Here is everything! My basement "studio". Kimball Valencia organ (1983) from my aunt, who received it from my grandmother. Resident Audio T4 Thunderbolt Audio Interface. Close up of my main rig. Yamaha Motif XF8 on the bottom with a Yamaha YS200 on the top. This is what I use for performing live as well. I generally use the YS200 as a midi controller for the Motif. Close-up of the YS200 (4-op FM synthesizer from 1987). On the shelving unit - the Motif's case-a "Yamaha Deluxe Hardshell Case for MOTIF XF8/S90XS", a YPG235 (not used much anymore), and a Casio Casiotone CTK-370 (early 80s non-touch sensitive keyboard from when my mother was growing up. The Casiotone CTK-370. It actually sounds ok if I run the recorded output through some digital guitar pedal plugins, but again, it is not touch sensitive. Yamaha PSR-295 - got it from a flea market. It was missing the volume knob and the top "C" key when I purchased it for a dollar. It works fine though. Kimball Broadway Organ - this one has rotating speakers in it. It's no Leslie, but it does make the organ sound like a theater organ. Yamaha Clavinova CVP-305 - great instrument. I developed a lot of ability on this instrument, as I have played it since I was a kid. -Max
  14. I have a Mac. Supposedly I can use Preview to resize them. I will try that now. Thanks!
  15. If you host them on an image hosting site such as Imgur, it gives you links for many different sizes. I have my photos hosted at ImgBB. There does not appear to be a resize function there.
  16. Hi! I have a good amount of pictures to url to, but how do I make them decently small? Otherwise they will fill the whole screen. :-(
  17. I once had a man who I would describe as "out of it" come up and sit on the corner of my stage, and start swearing at me, saying that if I couldn't play rap, and some strange song about chickens, that I was a worthless performer. I was playing ACCORDION! He sat there for ten minutes and never quit!
