The AFC South in general is interesting; three have rookie QBs as their starter (though RIchardson is out for the year with the Colts) and Lawrence isn't far removed from his rookie year either. If Levis and Richardson pan out, this division would boast the best QBs of any division. Of course there's a lot more to a winning team than that, but it starts there.

I kinda sorta disagree. Overall, Wentz is actually a good QB IMO...most of the time. But right when you think you have an answer at QB, he drives you crazy with stupid decisions/throws, sometimes mind-numbingly bad ones. Still, I'd take him over most if not all backup QBs right now. As for Ryan, from what I heard (didn't see enough to say with confidence), he was so immobile for the Colts (whose OL was a seive, but still) and just looking not good enough in general that it's scared teams away who feel he's fallen off a cliff. It's a shame, as from what I know he's a real stand-up guy. I still cringe when I think of that SB and his fumble that ultimately sealed the Falcons' fate.

I see the logic there, but I wouldn't count on it. If they draft a QB, that QB will be cheap to save money paying off Jones. I wouldn't count it out. Meanwhile the Chargers are trying to get to .500. I admit I expected more this year, but that team seems cursed.

Daniel Jones out for the year with a torn ACL. I know he still has a pricey contract going, but if NY can nab either Williams or Penix in the draft, IMO they'd be nuts not to.

Funny, I'm just the opposite. I oppose huge numbers of teams in playoffs because a half-ass team could get in and get lucky. And I used to love the bowl games, even the more minor ones, because they were colorful and had fun names like the Sun Bowl, Peach Bowl, Gator Bowl, etc. Now they're mostly named after corporations, which is so lame and a sad outcome of the almighty dollar and for me takes away from it greatly...still, bowl games can present some interesting matchups, even if not for the title.

Yeah we have more choices this year too, which meant more weighing which is better vs another. It more or less I think gets down to "do you feel lucky"....either definitely pay a lot more up front but safe in the knowledge that you have minimal expense if something comes up vs pay way less but risk paying a lot more if something happens.

Burgers are greasier than fries, generally speaking, but I suspect it can vary depending on the particular burger and fries. I disagree. I think fries are usually salty enough that most people eat them as is vs adding more salt, but I admit that's a guesstimate.

They are paying the piper for trading away all of those high draft picks and spending big on FAs. Nacua has been a great find, but they have too many holes. The D is still good and Stafford still has a year or three left in him I think, so if they can regroup via draft or FAs next year, they should have a shot.

Yeah Dobbs is IMO better than most give him credit for. Not a guy you want as your QB of the future, but a more than capable backup. Yeah they beat up a 12-yr old basically But hey, a win's a win. Eagles won in close and exciting game, but not a very "good" one, meaning both teams made way too many mistakes. The Eagles almost all but handed the Cowboys the game at the end.

I doubt that, but some choice. Both are extremely unhealthy, so I doubt it matters much. It matters a lot more to eat fast food very infrequently in general. I almost never do anymore. I'm no health nut, but pass. And I don't think the stereotypical "American" attitude of more is better really applies commonly anymore. Fair enough. I guess you could say let's not have any playoffs and the team with the best record at the end of the season is the champ. Personally I'm glad we don't. You could also argue that if they're really the better team, they should win when everything is on the line.

So tied for 6th. But that's all quibbling. My real point is they beat the supposedly better teams in the playoffs. Repeatedly. So IMO they weren't the better teams after all. That's what's good and smart about playoffs (except in football); you can't just have a lucky/hot game and move on. You have to beat a team over and over. If you can do that, I think it's safe to say you're the better team.

Some tight games today - Okla St finally beats OU in their last meeting for who knows how long (helped along by some bad OU coaching), Georgia, Texas, and Ole Miss barely hang on, and Army shocked Air Force for their first win against a ranked team since 1972.

Every other team sucks, so that's not saying much. I don't believe in Goff when push comes to shove and my fear is they will upset someone like the 49ers or Eagles in the playoffs and all but hand the SB to the Chiefs or Fins.

I always like to see a team whose history isn't dotted with success finally have a year, like Texas did in baseball. Now if only we could have some different college teams win in football...it amazes me how year after year there are these teams that frequently make the top 20, but never win it all.
