  1. of my music comps and video. There's a baker's dozen worth of songs and trippy videos. Grab some popcorn and a drink and enjoy!
  2. NP - BTW, you can put in this thread - no need to make a whole new one. Just post like you would be replying.
  3. Great post! Love seeing the inner workings of keyboards. ps. Looks like the board only allows 10 images per post - may want to split it up into two for the rest of the pic.
  4. Every time I hear this song all I think of is that Chris Farley and Patrick Swayze SNL sketch.
  5. Oh the elusive Sony DMS-320. Not much out there on this bad boy.
  6. Very nice, Steve. Gets REALLY cool in the middle and just keeps getting better. Great job on this track.
  7. I knew going in it was a high-risk mission. I *almost* fell for it, but then I remembered this little bit.
  8. You are completely off-base here. I really don't feel anything at the moment. I'm just really pissed off. I'd give a kidney not to go through this. It's all just so sad. But I mean, oh well, what are you going to do. CLASSIC!!!! Many are not getting the subtlety of MOI's post.

  10. We should all do out best to help MOI get through all of these. And if we can't get him all the way to acceptance, we can settle for getting him to depression. If we can get him depressed that's still pretty good.
  11. Question 1: What is the Dharma Initiative?
  12. Don't sweat it. To quote George Constanza "I'm the result of my parents having stayed together, so you never know."
  13. You did a real nice job with that repair. Do you have a "before" picture?
  14. All wired up. The TR-8 is sending MIDI clock to every synth so all the arps and sequencers sync. Planning on a big projects next year so I will be spending quite a bit of time here. The PX-5S and Volcas are on the opposite wall - more on that set-up later. http://s14.postimg.org/alir5bf0x/12316153_881688681947183_915879315768336456_n.jpg
  15. I took advantage of the whole "one man's trash" thing and scored these two desks from neighbors who had literally kicked them to the curb. I just got the second one today - which is great because I was about to dump $300 on one! Anyway, this is my (mainly) analog and VA set-up for experimental electronic music. Nothing is wired up yet because I'm not 100% sure if I am keep this configuration. I probably will end up changing it around a few times until the workflow is there. (Yes I still have the PX-5S and XW-G1 - they are on the opposite wall with my other digitals and DAW) http://s27.postimg.org/t43i4vj1v/setup1.jpg http://s15.postimg.org/5f5l2sivf/12308727_879057015543683_4803177658911945739_n.jpg
  16. They are a lot of fun - and not just all about that bass. The Volca Keys is nice too, but the Bass has that three track sequencer. Good for making little chiptunes-like stuff like in the video.
  17. Just having some bleeping and bloopy fun with a Korg Volca Bass. [video:youtube]
  18. "Digging in the Carts": For those who like chip tunes and video game music. Amazing how much they were able to do with such a limited soundset: Part 1: [video:youtube] (there are 5 other parts, links are in the YT side bar. Make sure you have CC on for the Japanese parts)
  19. Well let's start the insanity! http://oi58.tinypic.com/1zxqr5v.jpg
  20. In the individual Forte product pages of the Kurz site. It's the right side-bar. http://kurzweil.com/product/forte/
  21. Looks like 88.... http://oi61.tinypic.com/mh82sx.jpg
  22. Hi and welcome to the forums. I'd be interested in hearing some of your stuff -- if you any of your work on Soundcloud or YouTube, etc. please post it up or shoot me a PM with a link. I just got started in going this type of thing, but I am using a bunch of modules and mini-synths all synced up thru a MIDI Solutions Quadra Thru box. I'll be sharing my new set-up in the forum in a little bit. But you hit the nail right on the head: It's amazing what can happen when all the separate parts all line up like magic. Glad you found us. p.s. Don't let Joe talk you into the "$99 Lifetime Keyboard Corner Membership Special". He sold me 5 of them before I finally caught on!
