  1. Have the Fusion case for SK2. Plenty of storage and wheels.
  2. Solid trio. Wish the balance was a bit better but certainly liked what I heard.
  3. Once you have saved setups on on flasdrive and after powering up, you can elect to load any particular setup. They are numbered or you can choose to give each setup a name. Then every time you powerup, that setup is in the internal memory. If you want to change what is in the internal/default memory, use menu to go to set up and load in another named setup and that one then becomes the internal/default memory.
  4. It is a selection you must make when you go to setup. Review the previous messages on this thread.
  5. I am with you. Traded my C3 for the SK2. There are endless parameters to tweak so have fun. Just save your "whole' setups on a flash drive.
  6. You are a life saver. Never noticed that and I thought I had it all covered saving setups on flash drive "just in case." Would have been quite an unpleasant surprise. Thanks.
  7. Nice review. Every time I play my SK2, I get a big smile on my face.
  8. I have never seen in the menu option for saving "whole" setup file. I have additional libraries and system 5 installed. How do you select the "whole" option?
  9. Stephen-Can't wait for results. All great boards for sure.
  10. My problem was corrupted file download. Worked like a charm after reinstalling and of course as has been recommended, removed that one particular file from the drive that kept trying to reload upon startup.
  11. I use a no longer available Ultimate Support VT 44 table. Over 25 years of use and going strong. Very very light.
  12. Is there a slap bass patch available for the SK2?
  13. Want to thank you guys for help. All is well that ends well. Seemed there was a bad file or file that did not download properly. Good to go now. Also saved all of my different settings in folder on computer in event flash drive crashes. Also had to delete that sload file from flash drive after successfully installing the update.
  14. First of all, I was forgetting to hold the three buttons when powering up with drive installed. Starting from scratch now since I copied, deleted, and pasted so many times. Did try one time while holding the 3 buttons and all I got was a blank screen so obviously I did something wrong.
  15. Definitely some conflict in files. Two drives same exact results. Both with no problem when deleting system 5 upgrade and reinstalling previous system files.
  16. Tried deleting that file and keyboard does not freeze up but also does not recognize that there is system update or new library files on drive.
  17. 8G flash drive is new and has worked just fine last couple of weeks. 1 G is old and slow loading may reflect that. Just tried another drive and same exact problem. Are you suggesting to delete sloadv1003 file?
  18. Something very strange. Taking forever to copy to drive. With the 8G it took about 2 minutes or so.
  19. I will let you know. Copying to a 1 gig drive now.
  20. Downloaded system 5 again and copied and pasted with same results. All lights go out and message freezes. I assume it does not take much time for system to update.
  21. I did that and still nothing. Deleted system 5 and recopied previous system files to drive and everything is fine.
