  1. Hi all, has anyone actually used a Mojo 61 optional lower manual under a legend Solo organ?  Pros/Cons?  I researched Crumar's site and found the GM Labs MJU device which will allow the M61 LM to be an independent midi keyboard supplying power, midi connections... I do own a Korg Plug Key which is needed. I think it would be an interesting project, not concerned with the visual aspects of the different finishes of the two. Thanks, Joe

  2. Thanks for that info, it will be useful for me and some others I trust. If you go to the Home page you can edit the assignment of the sustain pedal to include one or both organ manuals to achieve the effect you want. That may negate the use of controlling the sim speed, but like all trade offs, pick your fav. Joe

  3. I bought one about 3-4 years ago; I'm 6'3" and needed the extra height. Works great, still using at home and on gigs. I contacted RnS to inquire about getting a round seat in addition to the saddle type seat it came with. The rep told me a year ago that maybe they would have product hopefully by end of 2022, but maybe early 2023. Covid shut down their supply of seat material. Good luck, Joe.

  4. Start off by oiling the generator and starter motor. Look for oil threads and add a couple drops there to help move oil to where it needs to go. Avoid over oiling the chorus generator;? Don’t recall if a C2 is different from the ABC-3 family? Others will also chime in. Takes a couple few days for oil to wick in. Good luck; had a C2 for a short while, great tone, built like a tank.

  5. Yes, about 3 years from a wonderful woman that I should have paid more attention to. She taught from Schaum but she also taught me correct fingering for every scale as well as all modes of chords. Wish I saved her handwritten book notes etc. but I was too young (11-13) to appreciate it at the time.  Went on to play an old Allen organ in church and kept going from there teaching myself. Still playing 50 years later. Rock on! 😜

  6. I have been using a KP 500sn for the last 5-6 years with no problem being heard by the band or audience. We are a fairly loud 6 piece and go with stage volume at most gigs, singer blows harp and provides  a decent PA, no subs. He will mix in the sax, guitar, 3 vocal mics, and drums at a modest level for a little bump up. Sometimes I'll jump on there too, but usually not as it's crowded in my opinion. I use either my SK-1 or Mojo -61 into a Ventilator 2 and I am very happy with the levels, size of amp, and ease of moving it around. I did buy an amp stand that I use on occasion if I want to project a bit above the din sometimes, but it's another thing to drag along and really not necessary. I found a nice level of eq settings and run the channel and master volume pots at 3:00 position; about 75%. Have never had to bury the expression pedal or go louder than that. No one player in the band is a volume problem; we're on the same page playing at a healthy level. Hope that helps. Joe.

  7. Doesn't the HS SK pro have only 3 contact sounds? The short demo from Viscount sounded very much like my old Hammond console layering tones. Love to see a full demo sans overdrive until the end of demo to be able to hear what they have going on on now. Hold some chords and add in the effects etc...looking forward to hearing that.
