I have Mojo, HX3, Viscount and Numa 1. Numa 1 affects the organ tone less than any of them. Numa 1 also has excellent chorus vibrato.

I hope that Elvio Previati, who "made" KeyB organ and Numa organ1, has managed to implement that sound to the new Viscount Soul!

Hoping that somebody comes out with a weighted 73 key with built-in speakers at this NAMM.  If not, I am going with the 121.   Someone suggested a Casiotone.  I purchased a CT-S1.   What a fun inexpensive keyboard!   Someone said everyone should have a Casiotone.  I will say plus a 73 weighted key.

    I bought a P-121 and I´m a "happy camper"!

Fast responsive keys, OK internal AP´s, with a USB-cable to my laptop I´m playin AAS and Acousticsamples EP´s!

I am also glad to know the people here though never had the chance to meet anyone face to face.

This forum reminds me that a large part of who I am is music.  As for the comedy, that is a large part of who I am also and the O.T. comedy posts are great!

    +1!

I´ve  met one member of this forum face to face and also sold him an organ, should have kept it though.

  4. I was searchin for the Numa 2, but it´s not in stock anywhere.

So I contacted Studiologic and the answer was: " Unfortunately this product has been discontinued. At the moment we’re not able to say of there ever will be a new model coming."

Hopefully there will come a new model, with better engine and sim, the keybed was more than OK (IMHO).

  5. I found this in the comments, re. JoeyD's YT-demo of the Soul and if it has Fatar keys:

"Actually, no Viscount makes the hybrid 9 contact system in house and is proprietary. So unless someone re-engineers it, won’t be available anywhere else anytime soon."

I think Joey can be trusted, so......Good news!

  6. Re. difference between the two 125´s:

At PianoWorldForum a member quote a page from the manual for 125a :

From the manual, pag 24: "Only MIDI data can be transmitted/received from/to this instrument. No audio data can be transmitted/received."

Multi-key contact isnt the only upgrade.  Watch the joey D video, he explains all of the upgrades including new effects, new bass only output and other features. If you didnt see the video you would thnk that multi-key is the only improvement.  There may be others but we dont really know unless someone details them.  I think that was John Doe's point.

Precise! It is a new model and therefor is it necessary to find out what´s different to the other models. Especially if you (me) are on the way to place an order!

  8. Why can´t Viscount just give us a proper technical/ user info of the "Soul", like a YT rundown of the organ, not the player?

All of the "HammondOrganPeopleNerds" know that JoeyD can play, but give us relevant info re. the Legend Soul.

Or is it still in prototype stage, like they don´t know the final result?

Speaking of price , the 273 @ $5300 and the smaller 261 @$3990 plus applicable tax. Essentially close to $6k for the full size one. I’m not going to comment on whether this is high or low …. You decide ! Makes me feel a bit better about ordering the OBX8 😉

    Where are these prices anounnced?

A HAMMOND player friend of mine played the Soul at NAMM.  He was very disappointed at the feel of the keyboard. He said that it felt like no HAMMOND he has ever played. I trust his judgment and I’m surprise that Joey allowed that to happen. I’m curious what other people feel about the Keyboard feel.

In the NAMM video from Fortner, Brian Ho said the Soul 273 was a prototype. Hope the keyfeel is correct when production starts.
