  1. TCE could do a lot worse than cutting and pasting that into their CS playbook.
  2. Woot! They clearly still didn't hear you. Indeed. By us, yes. By them? My money is on "not yet."
  3. Did they specify that you come slone? Is the meeting place an obscure Italian restaurant or abandoned warehouse? Is it near a river? You MIGHT want to bring a bodyguard.
  4. Its one thing to be shoddy to the Average Joe...but in your position in this gorganization...you've got a bully pulpit. You can hammer them on this as long as it takes. Its kind of like if a gun maker pissed off an editor at Guns & Ammo magazine. Just dumb.
  5. Were THAT the case, the proper procedure is to have a press release of some kind- your happiness is important to us, we are currently overwhelmed, yada yada, yada. That buys you time and goodwill. Of course, you actually have to be working on a solution...
  6. What I hope is that they see this and turn their ship around- I hate it when good companies go bad.
  7. And so, what was once a humble grass fire begins to spread...
  8. Thanks for adding the testimonial! Maybe, just maybe, as this snowballs, they will get the message.
  9. I have an MBA in marketing and I've been boggled by this whole saga. One big "How not to..." lesson.
  10. Like I say all the time- in the Information age, customer service is the new main battlefield for business. What WPS said about customer word of mouth was true...years ago. NOW, a customer can tell the WORLD about their experiences- good or bad- in seconds. And that opinion will last as long as the Internet,
  11. Lots of good Chorus pedals out there... In the meantime, TC Electronics...$$$$$
  12. I have already purged my G.A.S. list of TC Electronics gear.
  13. Customer service is the front line of business, moreso now than ever before...and they are just just killing themselves!
  14. I have to say, if this is what someone like A String has to go through with an issue like this, what luck does the regular schmoe have?
  15. Yeah...pretty much moved TC Electronic stuff off of my G.A.S. list at this point. A String, sorry it had to be you, but by taking one for the team, you opened a lot of eyes.
  16. I am all a-sad. Too many companies fail to understand how important customer service is...and in the Information Age, its even more vital than ever before. Whereas before, word-of-mouth spread a la the game of "Telephone", a post on a board like this, Facebook, Twitter or other social media can be worldwide in seconds.
  17. Hopefully, Tore has taken this issue up the line...
  18. These aren't the weirdest in the thread, but they definitely have a certain oddity about them: http://www.electric-babes.net/ Look through the gallery, and I think you'll get a better picture of the inspiration for their design aesthetic. http://www.electric-babes.net/guitars/ella-09/ I think they would be Sir Mix-A-Lot approved.
  19. Here's an odd one: http://www.oddmusic.com/gallery/om23350.html
  20. Here's another unique one from the land of the rising sun: http://www.gtrstore.com/store/pre-owned-1/atlansia-6-string-bass-shallow-burgundy
  21. Check these out: http://www.spaltinstruments.com/instruments/hybrids/ Scroll to the bottom and look for the Q 727 Baritone and the Thuya bass. http://www.spaltinstruments.com/currently-for-sale/ And: http://www.ricktoone.com/ Also: http://www.rolfspuler.com/site/
  22. I think the control in the illuminated divot is the kill-switch. I know some guys use it to do stutter effects & such, but I'm not the expert.
