  1. Yes, it's a switching power supply so as long as you have the right AC cable it will work with 220/240. That seals the deal for me. I just mailed my guy at Sweetwater. Hallelujah!
  2. Does anyone know if this will be voltage selectable ?
  3. Great news that the power supply is internal. Is it compatible with 220-240v or will separate models be made for different parts of the world? Back in the day Yamaha boards used to be voltage switchable. Even my KeyB accepts all line voltages. Fingers crossed from Yamaha.
  4. Here is about an hour of recently recorded live tracks from my organ trio. Taken from our weekly gig entitled Soul Jazz Sessions... Darren Heinrich Trio Live
  5. I'm going to order one, my sixth sense about gear tells me this is the one.
  6. Can someone post a picture of the ad?
  7. Craig - would you say it's streets ahead of the C2/C2D? Darren
  8. thanks - now I labels for the sounds my A100 makes.
  9. Forgive my ignorance, but what's the difference between leakage and crosstalk? Darren
  10. Really great playing, but at least with the camera audio, the Mojo sounds about the same as most clones.
  11. I have to say that my A100 > twin leslies is sounding SO amazing since I had the chorus generator serviced. The Trek reverb helps too. FAR OUT!
  12. yeah it's good time to buy either of the Italian brands, but I'm leaning towards the KeyB due to form factor (like a B3). Still I'm gonna hold off until I hear what the C2D sounds like - my C1 has been pretty trusty up until now.
  13. The prices are not showing on their site - what does a MOJO cost?
  14. I'm interested in the Mojo, but have reservations about it running on a windows PC inside the box - that's just plain scary! Darren
  15. Here's a link to a live set I did a few months ago, at the Kinetic Jazz Festival in Sydney. Band is called Jazz Organism and it's leader is Jeremy Sawkins, one of Australia's best jazz guitarists. Only a rough mix at this stage, and bear in mind we didn't get a rehearsal - drummer is a dep too! Organ rig is Nord C1 thru Motion Sound Pro 145. Darren Link Here
  16. You can find the multi-track on various torrent sites. The 8 parts are really just two with different clav pickup variations and effects, if I remember correctly. So great to hear that after all these years. I drove myself nuts trying to get it down when I was 18 but quickly realised it was multitracked and made a composite part for myself - have fun with it. Darren EIGHT?! I thought it was two. Ah well, it's more than one anyway. :-) Agree that Hammond sounds great on this as well. -John
  17. Just a few weeks ago I'm playing with my quartet. This women I've never met comes up to me mid-song and says "I'm going to sing the next song!" I said "NO" to her fairly emphatically. During the break it took 15 minutes as to why we don't allow sit-ins from unknown people...
  18. Man get a B2 off eBay - so cheap these days and so much better than a clone - just add a TREK percussion kit and you've got a killer B3
  19. A recent study found most 'pastors' haven't finished high school, so they're likely to be ignorant too! What a good combination.
  20. I was doing a hotel gig in Dubai a few years ago with a jazz quartet, playing Miles, Monk, standards and bossas. During a break an American guy approached us, raving on at length about how much he loved jazz and the band. We asked him if there was any song in particular he'd like to hear us play. Yeah, he replied, There's only one song I wanna hear - 'Black Magic Woman' by Santana."
  21. Lunar is as you suspect, all-in, boots-in-all they way it's meant to be!
  22. Ok here's Lunar and The Poledancer - Live, March 2011 and a Squabble version of Mack The Knife
