I use a mini 5 since it has an audio out. Power supplied by the Apple Camera Connection and also gives me a USB out. Using a mini 6 I use a Hyperdrive hub. Hope this helps.

I met my wife in college. I was studying music education, she became a Registered Music Therapist. Basically all our friends were musicians, so I had the best of both worlds home and gigging. Even with a few road trips and dry spells the upside of having music as a focal point has kept us on an even keel. Of course there were some conflicts that needed resolving, but nothing was insurmountable. To finalize this story the guys who played our wedding 50 years ago are helping us celebrate that fact at a party this weekend, and I’ll be joining them. I use an old Nord C-1 with the Ocean Beach drawbars and PK27 pedals through a Yorkville Blok100/Leslie 2101 for big money organ gigs. Custom made wheeled hard case for the organ, bag for the pedals and a Rok-N- Roller cart hauls it all. These gigs happen once a year or so. Otherwise B3X on an iPad mini with an Arturia Keylab Mk.II and one or two QSC K12-2’s is my standard haul.

We had a 4.8 quake about 29 miles SW. Had to clean up some glass from a dozen picture frames and the soundbar dropped off the TV taking out most of my Darth Vader collection, but they have been repaired.

That particular bass is a Traveler TB-4P, their version of a Precision. It’s a full scale neck, but their trick is they reverse the layout and bury the machines in the body. Flatwounds are a necessity to eliminate thumps and buzz. i use it also because my rotator cuff surgery limited my upwards reach, so I sling it as low as possible for comfort. Jake
