Muad’Dib
Yes! But I come up with the sheet music, which i can"t read? I"ll figure something else out. I"ll look for a video on YouTube and see if I can find a slower version with the letters.

ElmerJFudd
Or someone showing how it's played with a video? Quote Yamaha CP88, Casio PX-
Muad’Dib
Or someone showing how it's played with a video? Yes! I have kind of got it, but no quite. Been trying too practice slowly, i have a tendency to want too play fast. Trying too slow my mind down.

Muad’Dib
I went to youtube and searched "How to play Popcorn by Gershon Kingsley" First hit: [video:youtube] This is way too fast. What i really need is the letters, that correspond with the notes like beginners books. Because i need too relearn what I thought I learned. Sam CA
How about you download the midi file and slow down the tempo in your DAW? Quote www.youtube.com/c/InTheMixReviews
Muad’Dib
How about you download the midi file and slow down the tempo in your DAW? If I only had a DAW. I am on an iPad and not a MacBook or Desktop Mac.

Bill H.
On the Youtube video, go into settings (the sprocket in lower right) and select .25 in playback speed. It will now go rrrrrreeeeeaaaallll ssssllllioooowww and you should be able to pick it up. I speak from experience. I'm not afraid to own it... I've done it. Isn't the melody supposed to be played with tuned noise? Maybe it's another version I'm thinking of.
cp-the-nerd
I was gonna say, you can slow down youtube videos as much as necessary. I've learned plenty of parts that way. I understand you had something a bit different in mind, but if I learned anything from around 10 years playing in a coverband, it's that the perfect tutorial video almost never exists. Work with what ya got. Quote Keyboards: Nord Electro 6D 73, Korg SV-1 88, Minilogue XD, Yamaha YPG-625 Bonus: Boss RC-3 Loopstation
David Emm
I got to see Gershon Kingsley's First Moog Quartet LIVE, so this has a permanent place of luv in my flabby heart. Its omnipresent, too. I think its been played on everything but bagpipes. Like Bach, it translates to any instrument, or at least arranged for small groups. It would kill a flautist to play it solo.
