rogs Posted August 26, 2020 Share Posted August 26, 2020 I've found Reaper to be very good value -- and you could carry on using it for free, even after the trial period, if things are really tight - which they can be for some folk at present. Using Reaper as your DAW - and this free Spitfire VST library: https://www.spitfireaudio.com/shop/a-z/bbc-symphony-orchestra-discover/ (You have to wait for 2 weeks for the free version) and you could make some really high quality recordings with any MIDI keyboard --and for no extra cash outlay at all !
