ElmerJFudd
Uploads are now in the release of the SoundCloud app that"s out today for iOS; we"re waiting on an Android version. "Let"s say you"re working on a project on the go, and want to send a bounce to a friend or a client. Or you"ve recorded some interviews, and you share with someone doing transcriptions. Oddly, the original purpose of SoundCloud when it launched eons ago was stuff like this â it was an escape from what was at the time using FTP and other draconian solutions." Here's how it works... Song80s
heavy SoundCloud [sC] user here. I like using the site on my Mac. I think it supports lossless [ ?] or what might be called high def audio. SC audio is superior to YouTube, from my experience. Using SC on my iPhone is fiddly. Lots of fat fingering. Or so it seems, lots of pushing me towards tracks that have heavy promotion, spammish. Or Plugabodacious. Quote Why fit in, when you were born to stand out ? Baggypants
Sound cloud supports lossless HD storage and download. But it streams at 128kbps. https://help.soundcloud.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003563268-Reporting-stream-rippers I think it may use the Opus encoder which is very efficient. https://www.factmag.com/2018/01/05/what-is-opus-audio/
