BbAltered
Hello. A couple of years ago I introduced my niece (age 20) to the world of digital audio workstations. I then got her a copy of Reason (she uses a MacBook), and have been very gratified to see her writing and producing her own songs. I would like to get her a microphone to add her vocals to her productions. She has no pre-amps or any other equipment beyond her MacBook, and a bluetooth midi keyboard. She currently records her vocals into her iphone, and then imports the audio wirelessly into her computer. Does anyone make a decent mic that will wirelessly connect to her Mac? It doesn't have to be super hi-fi audio - something on par with the mic on her iphone would be fine. Thanks. Quote J.S. Baldwin Funster
There are usb large diaphragm condenser mics. I think samson has one. Bluetooth sometimes has a lot of latency. Quote FunMachine.

timwat
Wait a minute. I thought all MacBooks have at least one port. If it's the latest MacBook, it has no USB-A ports...but it has a USB-C port. Get her a USB mic and a USB-A to USB-C adapter. Quote ..
