I never even opened the box. I called Crate's tech support and asked about the preamp. The guy that answered said that the guy that could answer me was gone for the day. I told him I was basing my buying decision on whether there were op-amps in the preamp circuit and that I needed to see a schematic. He asked for my email address and said that he would send me the schematic in a few minutes. That was yesterday, still no schematic. So, back it goes. One sale lost because of poor support. Nothing turns me off to a company than having them promise something and not follow through. I may call them again next week and ask again. I might still buy the V58.
