not coaster MODERATOR
so i call my bro yesterday and ask if he has any guitars laying around that he's not using. i need a humbucker in the bridge i sez and that's my only requirements. i think my bad cat mini-stack needs a humbucker to really crank. so he sez sure, i don't know if you're a gibson man but you can have my sg he sez. it's a '73, tobacco sunburst. he's giving it to me today ! i'm having christmas on thanksgiving! Actually, his brother should not EXPECT an awesome Christmas present. imho, Cereal should try to find something of his that would mean as much to his lil' bro' as the SG means to him Gotta' geetar... got the amp. There must be SOMEthing else I... "need".
Philip OKeefe
Is this the same brother who made the guitar out of the surfboard? BTW, congrats Dave!
SuperFreak
I think a suitable return gift would be something along the lines of a month's free lapdances. I've found you can never go wrong with lapdances for presents. How can we fight ignorance and apathy? Who knows! Who cares!

not coaster MODERATOR
Originally posted by Philip O'Keefe: Is this the same brother who made the guitar out of the surfboard? BTW, congrats Dave! that's him. he's quite the luthier. i saw the electric he's building for the guy in stone temple pilots. he just made one for the guy in train, and walter becker uses his stuff. so a little old 73 sg doesn;t mean that much to him. it does to me however! i'm playing my "new" guitar right now
