batterypowered
A friend of mine has a Fender Leo Special banjo. Five strings, gold plated, heavy as all-get-out. I don't know what year it is, I haven't gotten so far as to look up Fender banjo serial numbers. The serial number is 181452. If anyone knows anything bout this 'ere thing, and can give me a guesstimate, it's much appreciated. twoblock.net batterypowered.org
Gabriel E.
Might be a 1966 or 1967 model. Not sure if they used the same serial # sequences for banjos as they did for guitars. I know absolutely nothing about banjos or their value so I can't help you with that. Might try Gruhn guitars. LPCustom
Fender doesn't have sales records or even serial number records going back that far. It says so on their web site. Born on the Bayou
