Blue Strat
Bob Marley & The Wailers. Got a copy of a Bob Marley concert (Record Plant, Sausalito, CA 1973). This is some cool stuff! I went down-town, I saw Ms. Brown She had brown sugar, all over her booga-wooga! BlueStrat a.k.a. Funk Jazz
i just got the peter tosh retrospective called "the toughest"... man, if he wasn't under bob's shadow, he would probably be the greatest reggae artist ever. but the two of them together is absolute magic. "400 years" from catch a fire is brilliant, as is "stop that train." but the most undersung genius is Family Man. his bass lines are like poetry. DIAMOND DUST
Who needs to go to church when you have Bob. So much trouble in the world So much trouble in the world Bless my eyes this morning Jah sun is on the rise once again The way Earthly things are going Anything can happen You see men sailing on their ego trips Blast off on their space ship Million miles from reality No care for you, no care for me So much trouble in the world now So much trouble in the world now All you got to do is give a little Give a little, give a little One more time YE-A-H! YE-AH! So you think you have found the solution But it's just another illusion So before you check out your tide Don't leave another cornerstone Standing there behind We've got to face the day Ooh-we come what may We the street people talking We the people struggling Now they are sitting on a time bomb Now I know the time has come What goes on up is coming on down Goes around and comes around So much trouble in the world So much trouble in the world So much trouble in the world There is so much trouble There is so much trouble There is so much trouble There is so much trouble in the world There is so much trouble in the world http://b-cordova.dmusic.com/

I'm with you man. Here's another jem. This morning I woke up in a curfew Oh god, I was a prisoner too Could not recognise the faces standing over me They were all dressed in uniforms of brutality How many rivers do we have to cross Before we can talk to the boss All that we got seems lost We must have really paid the cost (That's why we gonna be) Burnin' and a-lootin' tonight (Say we gonna burn and loot) Burnin' and a-lootin' tonight (One more thing) Burnin all pollution tonight (Oh yeah, yeah) Burning all illusions tonight Oh stop them Give me the food and let me grow Let the roots man take a blow All them drugs gonna make you slow now It's not the music of the ghetto Weeping and a-wailing tonight (Ooh can't stop the tears) Weepin' and a-wailin' tonight (We've been suffering all these long, long years) Weeping and a-wailing tonight Give me the food and let me grow Let the roots man take a blow All them drugs gonna make you slow now It's not the music of the ghetto We gonna be burnin' and a-lootin' tonight (To survive, yeah) Burnin' and a-lootin' tonight (Save your babies lives) Burning all pollution tonight Burning all illusions tonight Burnin and lootin tonight Burnin and lootin tonight http://b-cordova.dmusic.com/
