Gtoledo3 Posted October 11, 2003 Share Posted October 11, 2003 Well, I had a 68 tele in a case for about 6 months. Now that I open it up, the plastic on the top of the treble pickup, by the pole peices, has bowed up very slightly on the edge by the low E string. It will not pass signal... unless you push down onto the pickup with you finger. Then it passes fine, and sounds pretty much like I remember (except it is hard to test it out, and play it, while pushing down with one finger onto the pickup). I am wondering if anyone has any advice on what I should do to correct the situation. The tele was my first guitar, and it would break my heart for the pickup to be screwed. It has always been one of my favorite sounding pickups Want mix/tracking feedback?
