dave123
jbl included a porting chart with a speaker i purchased as an upgrade in a bass amp i had. since it was a bass i'm not sure how it would apply to your situation. the figures are based on cabinet cubic footage and includes the length of the port tubes to be used. i'd be happy to provide you with that info but i don't have a scanner. if you want the info just ask and i'll try to be more specific. DC
There are a ton of books with the formula you need. There are also computer programs where you just plug in your speaker's parameters. A good place to start would be: www.partsexpress.com They've also got a tech chat board where you can ask questions. The head guru will many times give you internal dimentions and port sizes for a speaker if you supply him with the info on your driver that he needs. -David http://www.garageband.com/artist/MichaelangelosMuse

dave251
http://www.kbapps.com/ This site has all of the calculators and conversions. Just plug in the speaker parameters you will find from the partsexpress site and it will spit out the interior cab dims. Be sure to study up on cab construction....
