drumgeezer
Hi all! Pardon a drummer for being in here (some of you could feel the tempo speeding up, couldn't you?), but I've got a son who is a guitar player and I need a Christmas present question answered. He has asked for a DOD FX25B effects pedal. Our local Guitar Center has the DOD GFX25. I cannot seem to find any information on that one. Can any of you shed some light on the difference, if any? Old model? New Model? Different Model? Thanks for your help! Rob
The T Dot
Here's a quote from the DOD site: "The FX25B is the reincarnation of our original envelope filter. You still get that great automatic wah sound, but we've taken it one step further by adding a blend control making the FX25 equally responsive to both the guitar and bass guitar." It sounds like the FX25B is essentially the same effect as the FX25, only now suitable for bass as well as guitar. If your son is strictly a guitar player he's probably better off with the original, at least IMHO. good luck
