Latest report on George Harrison's health: Update (11/6/01) The recent report about George being treated in New York has drawn concern and speculation about his condition. The Liverpool Echo reports that George is being treated in New York by Dr. Gil Lederman, a surgeon who says he can double the survival rate of patients with inoperable tumors by using a method of delivering high doses of radiation to the tumors without damaging the surrounding tissue. The treatment has been criticized by some medical experts. George is said to be registered in the hospital as George Arias, which is the maiden name of this wife, Olivia. She is with him at his bedside. The article says 88 percent of patients who have had the radiation oncology treatment George is having were still alive a year later. However, one press report, from the World Entertainment News Network, says he's "bravely battling for his life," but gives no other details. To send George a get-well card, send it c/o Apple, 27 Ovington Square, London, SW3 1LJ, England Though there is no official email to send get well cards to George, there is an unofficial one that, we're told, will fax the emails to Apple if enough are received. Send your emails to wishgeorgewell@yahoo.co.uk. Again, this is unofficial. "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"

ZootHornRollo_dup1
I generally don't express much concern over hyper-famous people... but George Harrison strikes me differently. I wish him well. [ 11-08-2001: Message edited by: ZootHornRollo ]
Kendrix
It seems he's succeeded in keeping much of the media from bothering him at this time. Good for him. Check out some tunes here: http://www.garageband.com/artist/KenFava
