strat0124
Caught Bill Wyman's show on last night, never knew the guy was such a blueshound, incredible. Just wish the show was longer with longer passages of the music. But all in all it was damn cool. Down like a dollar comin up against a yen, doin pretty good for the shape I'm in
Tedster
Yeah, I saw quite a bit of it, too. Flipping through the channels, and saw B.B. talking..."Whoa, this is where my TV will be parked", and then it's Bill Wyman talking about all of this blues history with Muddy Waters' son and Buddy Guy etc...a lot of cool old clips and anecdotes, like Muddy Waters shoving one of his band members around for making fun of Son House. Let the good times roll... Was that just a one segment thing or is it a series??? "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
dinopop
I caught the second hour of this (channel surfing as well). I would agree that it was too damn short. How 'bout this: Ken Burns' "The Blues". Only replace Ken Burns with Bill Wyman! - Layne
Tedster
Although it may not have been specifically mentioned, I believe that the show was basically a promo for Bill Wyman's book. May be worth a trip to Barnes and Noble... "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
