not coaster MODERATOR
Bill Finnigen said he shipped it on Tuesday so UPS should have it here today. I'll be running it through a 1-12 Ampeg nonmaster tube combo. Tomorrow I'll take it to Guitar Center and see how the little Fenders sound.

michael saulnier
Ted, You've obviously not been hanging around on the effects part of the Harmony Central user ratings... A Klon Centaur is one of the "highly regarded" overdrive units that most users consider THE pedal for THE sound. Obviously this is pretty subjective stuff, and your smilage may vary, but if you're a Klon kinda guy... and the UPS driver is soon to arrive... well remember that feeling Christmas morning around 5am when you were 6 years old? Or some years later... the first time you were alone with your first girlfriend and she was pulling down her... and you KNEW you were about to... well you get the point. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif Let's just say, it's something you're looking forward to. Cereal, have fun with your new Klon and let us know how you like it!!! guitplayer ------------------ http://www.mp3.com/acousticvoodoo Guitar Forum CD Info http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/Forum19/HTML/000537.html I'm still "guitplayer"! Scott from MA
My friend uses a Klon Centaur through a Fender Deluxe. His sound is amazing! He let me fool aroung with it for a while, and I was blown away by the tones I was able to get out of it. A pricey little box... but worth every cent! Tedster
Oh, I understand the feeling of waiting for my girlfriend to (Sean Connery voice) "Drop her panties" on Christmas...er...what were we talking about? not coaster MODERATOR
Howdy Pardners! Yup....UPS guy came. No sense me tyring to write up a review. It's been worked over in other forums. All I can say is try to imagine gain that adds no coloration to your tone. Ahh never mind. You gotta hear it. But you can't hear it because it's not in stores. not coaster MODERATOR
This little write-up pretty much sums things up on the Klon. I leave it on the whole show. The Tube Screamer is still my "distortion" pedal. http://www.tonehunter.com/reviews/klon/centaur.shtml
Sir Bob
I use two pedels and that's it. 1) the Klon which I use for a BIGGER SOUND say like power chords and 2) Hotcakes for dirt which is only a little which is what I want. I think I end up using them about 1/3 each with no pedal the last 1/3. Sometimes I use them both at the same time but that's usually at the end of the night.
