stanner Posted July 22, 2001 Share Posted July 22, 2001 never played a mandolin but, are you talking about 'double picking' that all us surfee stylee do ad nauseum? the way i learned was w/ a metronome slowlllyyyyy building up speed (plus picks so they dont melt...and 60 gauge on the low Es... yer mileage may vary.
