What an enormous shame.... I have a vintage AC30 which I love to bits, he will be sorely missed. My deepest respects and condolences to his family.

He certainly left a tremendous legacy. The sound that his amplifiers have made will live for a long time.

dont know much about 'vox', bein a 'fender'guy but i fell in *love* w/

guitar and its sound when i heard "i wanna hold your hand" on the a.m. back in the early 60s!! that intro is the most sultry sound i have *ever* heard eminating from a speaker, and i dont even know if that was a 'vox' or not-but i think so,no?

btw-if it werent, wot were it?-inquirin minds wanna know...
