Also Badfinger......excellent songs, great performance. Toad the Wet Sprocket to me are one of the finest bands to emerge during that era.....great guitar tones as well. The London Quireboys....out Black Crow'd the Black Crowes. The original Montrose.....that album changed my life...hahahahaha!!!!! Rock Candy baby!!!!!! There are plenty more but I'll shutup and let the collective lament. clockwirk
Soundgarden. Superunknown is one of my favorite albums of all time. I assume you don't mean classic bands like Zep and the Beatles, or else my post could go on for days. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif ~clockwirk~
screamincore.com
I vote for the Fleetwood Mac lineup that had Bob Welch and Danny Kirwan (way before Buckingham and Nicks.) The Bare Trees album is a classic. Also Beck, Bogert, and Appice...

DC
If they'd do more music like their first albums, Vapors and Knack. Man oh man, I miss Rockpile! They were rock AND ROLL! Hey, no one's said Beatles. They were a guitar band at the start. -David http://www.garageband.com/artist/MichaelangelosMuse
KJ
"...and in the end.." the Beatles were always guitar driven, alot of their psychedelic stuff was done with guitars that were heavily effected in the studio. Then they left us with that great three-way guitar trade-off on Abbey Road, what a great way to go... ------------------ KJ "...it's not that I'm lazy...it's just that I don't care."
