burningbusch
As this thread relates to hum and Electros and all that, I thought I would point out that the Electro's power supply is not well shielded. My hope was to put the Electro (for organ) on top of my CLavinet, but when I do I get very high levels of hum on the Clav. Moving the Electro further from the pickup reduces the hum but you have to put it so far to the left it isn't practical. I tested with Roland and Yamaha products on top of the Clav and heard no additional hum. Way back when I used a Prophet 5 on top of the clav and never had a problem. A D6 always requires a noise gate, but with the Electro the hum is so loud it over powers the gate. FYI Busch.
daBowsa
Ah, busch - I know what your problem is. You're supposed to put an Electro on top of a Rhodes and use it for organ and clav. Everyone knows there's no better clav sim than an Electro!
