Happy New Year to all. Looking at all te posts on this forum I have to conclude that our lingo has evolved to the point where it is really turning into a language all its own. I hereby suggest that we call our language:

 

PIANESE

 

local: Korg Nautilus 61 AT | Yamaha MODX8

away: GigPerformer | 16" MBP M1 Max

home: Kawai RX-2 | Korg D1 | Roland Fantom X7

That sounds inclusive of non-piano topics like analog synths and such.

There is indeed a different jargon for synths. It makes me feel good using big words few around me understand.

 

Until I use the term "bulk dump"; then I feel like a total Beavis.
