ITGITC
I read the articles. Thanks. However, the most interesting part of the articles is this: If you spend more than 30 minutes on this site, please send $1 to me. Go to http://paypal.com/ and make a payment to xah@xahlee.org. Or send to: P. O. Box 390595, Mountain View, CA 94042-0290, USA.♥ Pretty clever, methinks. Jeep
He cracked me up with his unintentionally delightful English-As-A-Second-Language utterance: "Just remember when your hand run down to the lower parts tonight, there's this giant imperfection of what otherwise could have been." Another beauty: his reference to "Carnage Hall".
MikeT156
Yep, he hates Yamaha, and also thinks Steinway pianos suck. Interesting. He should send me a dollar for taking the time to read his crap. Chris M
The Yamaha P120 is total crap. It has a 3-level adjustment for velocity sensitivity. No matter what, it is impossible to play pianissimo on this keyboard. This is the keyboard to ruin budding prodigies. The one to wreak havoc on pianists. The gift for your step sons. The choice of brand-name conscious brutes. Yup, he hates Yamaha. Chris M.
Jeep
Um, fellas..... he (like many of us) obviously doesn't like the Yamaha P120, but he apparently did get rid of his Kawai MP9000 and bought a Yamaha S08 .
Byrdman
An S08 in place of an MP9000. And he expects us to believe he knows anything? Sheez.
fisheye
Recently i started to get serious about playing piano ... Of the past 2 months, i have occasional chance visited a local community college to feel true hammerclaviers. That explains things. He plays only a few months and he has played real piano's about 4 times. My analysis: he hasn't developed much dynamics in his fingers yet, so he can't really play soft yet. It's ridiculous after all that he can't play soft on those. Or the other possible analysis: I don't like Roland.
