Looks like I'll be there on Thursday. :thu: Not yet sure about Friday, so I may not be able to make the dinner. :( Regardless, I'll try to swing by the booths where everyone is and say "Hi" if you're there, just to get to meet everyone.

Hey I just thought of something. "Ray" is released on the Oct 29, the day we've picked for our dinner.

 

You guys want to have dinner somewhere near Moscone, then go catch a late showing of Ray at the Metreon? The Metreon's website doesn't have schedules up yet, but I betcha there'll be a late showing that day.

It's been over 25 years since I was there, but I think there's a Cadilac Bar & Grill (Tex-Mex) close by. It was a big open space restaurant so getting a large table set up and being noisy wouldn't be a problem. Does anyone know if they're still there and, if so, any good? From what I remember, it was decent food.

So, unless I hear otherwise, I'm making reservations today at Biscuits n' Blues for 18 people (a few more than we have on the list to allow for last minute additions) on Friday October 29th at 7:15 PM.

Will be. I just checked with him. His name is Bill. I applied for an AES pass for him yesterday too (in the nick of time!).

How did I miss this yesterday ? I'm definitely there and my wife is coming along. Her only issue is she don't eat meat and I think Geoff is in the same boat. Geoff ? If it's not too late to add two more to the list let me know as I've got a friend who'd like to come along with his wife as well.

Okay, Biscuits and Blues just lost our business, I think.

 

They want to know what each of us are going to eat right now, and they want to know how many of us are going to stay for the show. They also want us to prepay for the tickets for anyone who is going to stay for the show now.

 

They will also ask anyone who is not staying for the show to leave at 8:30. They'd really like it if we could be there closer to 6, but that just ain't gonna happen. If we get there at 7:15, that only leaves us 1:15 for dinner.

 

I'm thinking this kinda sucks.

 

Anyone have any other ideas? Can we get some help from the SF folks on this one?
