Max Ventura
We're in the process of updating the studio and we eyed the Motu 24 i/o which has been offered to us at an extremely handsome demo price, plus we already have the NFR versions of SX 2.0.10, Nuendo 2, Logic Platinum 5.5.6, all on PC. We're NOT switching onto Mac. Does anybody ever heard of driver failure in this setup? The Cubase tech guy tells us that he heard something of the sort but I simply think he wants to turn us onto some Nuendo card instead. Max Ventura, Italy. shniggens
I have the MOTU 802MKII running with Cubase SX on windows, and so far it has run flawlessly (except for a few minor bugs on Cubase SX). I have a relatively modest PC setup, too. 1.2GHZ Processor 512 MEGS RAM 180 gig hard drive The drivers loaded fine IF you follow the destructions precisely. I had everything up and working within the first few hours. I don't think I could be much happier with the setup. Keep in mind that I am an amateur, though, and I haven't worked with much else. So I don't have anything to compare it to. Amateur Hack
