shniggens
Anyone know, or know where I might be able to find, a good JAZZ or modern style piano teacher in the greater metropolitan Denver area? I have visited a few, but have not been impressed: One teacher just talked and showed me stuff for an hour. I didn't touch the keys once. Another teacher I tried was oviously used to children, and approached me in an adolescent manner. I was really suprised he didn't give me a candy cane at the end of our session. The third teacher I tried had horrendous breath. Well, it didn't seem like he had much to offer in the theory department anyway. HELP!! Rod S
Contact the music department at a major university/college - that's what I did when I was in California. Within a week they had hooked me up to an amazing jazz teacher.
