I intend to use it live and to play progressive rock, fusion...no trance or techno. Is it possible to use it multitimbrally with a master keyboard and have, let's say, a lead on the Virus itself and a pad on a master, saving every setting in multis and, more important, retaining the same full sound as in single patches? aeon Posted January 19, 2003 Share Posted January 19, 2003 yes to all your questions with one caveat... the Virus only has one global delay/reverb...so patches that make use of that resource in single mode may sound different in multi mode. depending on the sounds you are using, this may not be a limitation. OS 5.5 for the C series offers an effect copy function which makes it easier to shape your multi to suit your patches. keep in mind you always have use of the multiple outs if you need more delays/reverb than the single one offered on the Virus itself.
