shniggens
Can anyone recommend a good rock/blues/contemporary instructional video. What I'm after is a good source of new ideas and practice routines/material. I know that a video isn't some sort of "magic spell" that will make me play better without practicing, but I find it good to watch others play and then explain what they just played, including the theoretical aspects. I have T Lavitz's video, but I found it to be just a showcase for his playing without much instruction or explanation. Muchas Gracias. Carlito
Look for the Homespun tapes.Your local music store might have them.I have the New Orleans piano by Dr. John, tapes 1&2 with complete transcriptions of the pieces taught, side and top views of the keyboard simultaneasly.I know they released Beginning blues/rock piano by David Cohen.I don't know if they have anything more advanced for blues/rock.
