Dr Teeth
Have you tried that synth? how good is it for percussion? strings? brass? pads? bells? that is the most that i need for my portable keyboard i want... any? Rebuilding My Self
tenthplanet
Well it's like a A-station with a keyboard. It's virtual analog so it does leads really well. For the sounds you desire you would want to try out the EMU PK-6 or perhaps a Triton LE. Both are goods at the sounds you're looking for. Intheether
how good is it for percussion? strings? brass? pads? bells? I agree with tenth planet. The k-station is designed for bass and analog leads, not to be an all around synth. It sounds really good for the price - I liked it better than the a-station simply because I prefer keys to racks. Really nice arpeggiators and vocoders. ~nel *
Dr Teeth
Well I really like string sounds from virtual analog synths than sample rom ones. As well as bells, and all that I mentioned above. I just want to know if it is possible. Have you heard the emu? it is any good? here in guatemala you cant find one of those . But why is it so cheap comparing to the others? RABid
It sounds like a Proteus 2000, but a bit clearer in sound because of new DA converters. The patches are new but the samples they are based on are the same. It is basically a Proteus 2500 with half the polyphony. Robert This post edited for speling.
