ranik1
Hi! I find it very useful to study new keyboard techniques using MIDI files from the net. What's your favorite way to do that? Is it by converting the file to music score or by using a MIDI player with keyboard graphical interface? What's the best software to use for that purpose? Thanks! Blue
Well I don't normally use these methods (midi files), but I hope I will eventually. And possibly I will use Sibelius to convert midi files to standard score arrangements. I don't know, maybe Finale or other programs also are able to do this, but one of the things that amazed me in Sibelius was the quality of the result when loading a midi file and showing it as staves of music. Other than not having some indications you usually do find in printed scorebooks (fingering, some ornaments, etc), I find the overall result astonishing.
