bstp
One minute, I'm recording bass in Cubase and it works like a charm. The next (half an hour later !!!), everything that's coming in Cubase has somekind of a doubled sound added to it (like an octaver)... I didn't change anything in the audio settings.. Has anybody had this problem and managed to solve it ? If so pleeeease tel me how, 'cause I didn't see anything about that in the "Getting into..." manual... Guest
Do you have midi running in and out of the pc? You could be getting midi feedback. That used to happen to me on cakewalk. Other than that I would probably just opt for the 4 track tape...or an 8 maybe. The whole pc recording thing frustrates me to no end. I just don't have the time to spend trying to figure out how to solve this and that problem. It sucks the creativity right out of me. I guess I'm just too old for this pc based music world or something. Good luck. JW http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif
bstp
Thanks for your reply b3wiz ! I've only re-installed the driver for my soundcard and it did the trick. Suddenly, I love making music with my pc... go figure... Thanks bstp
dansouth
I seem to want to drop the Mac hint here, but PC enthusiasts may start screaming. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif Cubase is a good product, and you'll have lots of fun with it as soon as you get it set up properly for your needs. Don't despair, you're almost there!
