Guest
After twenty years of owning some kind of studio and using only dedicated hardware (ie, sequencers, samplers etc) I have finally embraced the idea of a PC in the room. I was given a 486/Win95...The first thing I did was interface it to my midi patchbay via a Midiman box, and have installed the simple basic sequencing program call Cubasis from Steinberg. I have also ordered a librarian/editor program from Soundquest. My questions are: Can someone give me a brief history of Steinberg and their Cubasis software? What would be the next logical upgrade from Steinberg? Is there a Cubasis interactive forum to discuss this simple program, all everyone talks about is Cubasis VST!? ------------------
Graham English
www.cubase.net Most people upgrade to Cubase 5/32. It's 32 bit and sounds amazing! I would also recommend updating your computer. A Pentium III processor will bring you up to date. ++ Graham English ++ Ear Training, Songwriting Tips, and Music Theory
