Synthguy
I rather like the look of the Karma. That burgundy is a bit odd, but then, I don't buy instruments for the color coordination. I still think the ugliest synth from modern times (mature midi) has to be the Roland JD-800. I love the control panel, and the sound can be amazing and impossible to duplicate, and looking at it from the keyboard position can be inspiring. However, move away from the beast, and it turns into some monstrosity right out of a 1950s era spaceship control panel, with wobbly sections that don't match properly. What were they thinking?? Post modern art perhaps?? http://www.geocities.com/jd800center/RolandJD800i-1bc.jpg This keyboard solo has obviously been tampered with!
Prague
The Orchestron Model X Phase IV ! http://www.optigan.com/cousins.html Scroll down to about mid-page. It has 4 manuals AND bass pedals. But, why do I want one so bad?

Synthguy
I used to own a Vako Orchestron, and still have some discs in a box somewhere. It was an odd, sort of useful instrument, until it died. This keyboard solo has obviously been tampered with!

I was really pissed that Ferris Bueller had one and I didn't http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif - Laynethe EII wasn't bad looking, but the first emulator was ugly.
