Triton Arpeggitor/Cubase problem

Recommended Posts

Any clue how to turn on the arrpegiator patterns in sequence mode?

Let me see if I've got this right:

Cubase works in sequence mode only for the Triton. Makes sense.

I figured out how to turn the arrpeg. on in sequence mode, but there's no way I can tell to select a pattern like you can in program mode.

For instance, I like the "Quarks" pattern for the arrpeg. I select it in program and can "record" it. When I switch to sequence mode, it won't play the proper pattern.

I know I'm doing something wrong.....

The Triton stores arpeggiator patterns separately from programs, but within a program you can (a) select an arpeggiator pattern to use with that program and (b) set the arpeggiator ON or OFF.

In Song Mode, select the Program you want on one of the 16 channels. For that channel, select whether you want it arpeggiated by arp A or B. Then specify the arpeggiator pattern you want. Decided whether you want the internal Triton clock to run this arpeggiator of the external MIDI clock. You can select either in the Global area, but remember to save it.

I'm confused as to what you're asking with regard to Cubase. Just make sure Cubase is sending MIDI clock to the Triton, and it should work.
