Guest
I would like to hear any reviews from people using Roland's XV-5080. It seems to have a remarkable feature set, but I haven't found one locally to try, nor have I read much from people actually using it. Anyone using it out there who has comments? DBENNVAhotmail.com
Peeps, The XV-5080 is awesome. It does so much that to start to describe it here in great detail would be like writing a spec. sheet. The sound is "Gangsta". If you've worked with previous Roland modules (JD-990/JV-2080) you'll find it easy to get around. The polyphony is 128 voices, & the effects are banging. My opinion. Don't even worry about trying it out. Just buy it. If you don't like it I'd personally think that some thin's wrong with you, unless you're lookin' for a sampler. It does'nt sample but does play back samples from some of the major sampler manufacturers. Quantum!
