swpdndbcity.net
Need input from anyone who has had good success with midi converters for bass guitar. Which ones track the best and do they now make one for 5 strings? Thanks.
Anderton
Check out the ones made by Yamaha and Axon. I haven't used them with bass myself, but both have worked well for me with guitar, and I've seen bass pickups available for them. As a recall, at least one of those models accommdates 5-string bass. Maybe a quick check in the Bass forum would yield more definitive opinions. swpdndbcity.net
Thanks Craig, so far no response from the bass site. I thought you would be able to help me. I did check out the Yamaha and they do have a 5 string version. Will check into it. Can't find any info on Axon. Did a search, can't find a site. Thought maybe Roland would have something but could only find the git version. Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have to cover synth parts on my singer's new CD and unfortunatley my keyboard chops ain't what they are on bass. Palming and octave dividers only go so far. Thanks again.
