soundhound555 Posted January 5, 2003 Share Posted January 5, 2003 I've got a 14"high X 16" DW Collectors series floor tom bought new in 1996. The iso mount has never really worked that well under the weight of the drum. It pushes against the tuning rods and messes up the tuning. I've noticed that dw has redesigned the tom mounts a bit. Do the new versions work better than the old ones or should I get a R.I.M.S mount? Anyone had the same experience? (((Bring on tha Nut*Meg!)))
