I need advice on a set of headphones for onstage monitoring. I have tried the cheap Radio Shack in-ear with no luck, to much outside sound comes through. I prefer something around the ear or if you know of a exceptional quality in-ear that would block out other sound I will consider that.I need a volume adjustment preferably on the cord. I let a guitarist use them during a tracking, and he thought they were the best he'd heard for isolation. I personally think they are slightly emphasized about 300Hz. I saw a couple other Sennheisers at AES, last weekend. I think the 280-Pro has a better response. And, they are cheaper. Here are some links...
