larrytkennedyexcite.com
After having advised each of my drum students to purchase a metronome (don't think any did!), I was excited to discover a free, computer-based metronome offered by Mars Music! Visit their website : http://www.marsmusic.com/lessons/toolbox/;jsessionid=HFUEHRF2BNOAYCQDBZISFFA and download the metronome/tuner. You can then use your computer as a metronome and - if you have a CD-R drive - you could even create a CD with certain tempos to use with headphones while practicing! COOL AND FREE!!! Thanks, Mars! larrytkennedyexcite.com
Joe, since I am computer-challenged (I own a 356Mhz machine at home, DVD Rom but no CD-R), I speak only of what I believe can be done. But, if one had a CD-R burner in their computer, one could surely record the metronome, could one not? One of the purposes of having a CD-R on your computer is to record music that you downloaded or created on your computer - seems like this would be the same thing, wouldn't it? Help us out, you techo-geeks out there on the Forum!
