DrummerMom
has anyone done this? I want to mount my floor tom and snare drum to my icon drum rack can this be done without drilling holes into the drums? Lori"DrummerMom"Henderson
MPCman
Tama has a snare basket which is made for mounting to a drumrack with 1,5" pipes. The ICON rack doesn't have round pipes except for the legs. You should check that diameter and if it's the same you can use a 90 degrees rack clamp. You can probably mount the floortom to your rack with a Pearl Optimount mount. www.gaugerpercussion.com builds the so called RIMS which can also be used. Hope this helps

DrummerMom
MPCman, Thanks for the idea! I took an extra PC10 clamp and turned upside down the rack and took my snare stand apart and it mounted perfectly to my Icon drum rack. The reason I wanted it mounted in the first place was because I play double bass and everything is really close together in my setup.(in other words the snare stand needed to go) Thanks again, Lori"DrummerMom"Henderson
MPCman
A smaller snare will help too.
