at the bottom of all of the pics on this auction is a VERY interesting picture you guys might want to check out. It is an old pipe oragan that resides in some mansion that is for sale on Ebay. What makes it interesting is that it has a bass drum, snare, and cymbal that looks as if the organ is able to play them. Some of you will like this, just go check it out.

I checked out the picture and indeed the bass drum and cymbal can be played along with the organ. A marry-go-round uses this type in a much smaller scale. Like a player piano, it uses a scroll with holes in it to allow triggers to react with some valves connected to a manifold behind the unit. I don't think that you can play this separately while playing the organ, can't remember the names of these off hand. It runs off of some sort of a compressor. A lot of compressed air hoses(black)running around. It looks like brass, steel and wood pipes are being used. I believe the brass pipes are used for the higher pitched sounds, the steel ones are used for mid range, and the wooden one for the lower frequency sounds. A one man band, if played with a pre-made scroll.

All I know about these.
